Carter joined MRE Capital in 2024. Carter is responsible for origination, execution, and portfolio management activities.

Carter spent six years in investment banking at Brookwood Associates in Atlanta. Previously, he was a Vice President at Thorlo, where he planned and executed marketing and business development programs for his family’s branded sports apparel business.

He earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the College of Charleston and his International Masters of Business Administration from The University of South Carolina. He lives in Annapolis with his wife and three young children.
